A few days ago, one of our trail cameras captured a wonderful moment in Matsalu National Park — a female Eurasian Lynx together with her cub. It seems that the lynx population in western Estonia is doing very well.
During the winter, we frequently found lynx tracks in the snow, and on our spring wildlife tours we were fortunate enough to see these elusive wild cats several times.
We hope to see the lynx of Matsalu National Park again on our Large Carnivore Tour this October and on our Spring Lynx Tour next year.
