When female Capercaille does not find males in the usual lekking site and joins Black Grouse lek instead, hybrids between these two species can be hatched.
A hybrid cock, known also as Rackelhahn can visit Black Grouse leks. It can destroy the lek with its odd and aggressive behaviour. This bird was photographed last spring in one lekking site of Black Grouse in Estonia.
